Privacy Policy

SportsPrompt is operated by Palmetto Ridge Holdings LLC through Palmetto Ridge Media Group. This policy covers sportsprompt.pro and its embedded Streamlit application.

Information you provide

You may voluntarily type a sports question. The current application accepts text only. It has no user accounts, payments, subscriptions, file uploads, camera input, microphone recording, or location request. Do not submit credentials, financial details, identifying information, or other sensitive content.

Conversation processing

The application keeps its system instructions, your prompts, and generated answers in Streamlit session state for the current session. On each turn, the full current conversation—including earlier prompts and answers—is transmitted to OpenAI's Chat Completions API using the gpt-4o-mini model. The answer is streamed back and added to the session.

The repository defines no account database, persistent conversation database, or local file storage for prompts. Ending or expiring a Streamlit session prevents the app from continuing it. Hosting and API providers may separately process and retain requests, technical logs, or metadata under their settings, obligations, and policies.

OpenAI processing

The OpenAI credential is loaded from Streamlit's server-side secrets and is not intentionally sent to the browser. Requests explicitly set store=False; this means the app does not ask the API to create stored application state. It does not prevent every form of provider processing or logging, and SportsPrompt does not represent that a special retention arrangement is enabled.

Analytics and hosting

These public pages use Google Analytics 4 property G-K1BXV43YMH. Google may process page interactions, approximate location derived from an IP address, device/browser data, timestamps, referrers, and cookie or device identifiers. The code does not configure targeted advertising.

The wrapper is hosted through Namecheap/cPanel infrastructure, and the embedded app is hosted by Streamlit Community Cloud. These providers may process IP addresses, browser details, request logs, security events, and operational cookies. Analytics on the wrapper is separate from prompt content submitted inside the Streamlit iframe.

Use, choices, and contact

Data is used to return answers, maintain the current session, operate and protect the service, measure public-page use, and troubleshoot. You may avoid submitting prompts, omit sensitive details, use browser controls to limit analytics, and close the app to end active use.
